As a child, without fully realizing that my name resemble that of Haddis Alemayehu, the author of Fikir Eske Mekabir, I felt that his name was not just personal to me but also a source of inspiration for my own journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, under the stage name Hadinko, he proudly carries forward the legacy of Haddis Alemayehu through the masinko, one of Ethiopia\u2019s traditional musical instruments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During his performances, Hadinko captivates audiences with his mastery of the masinko, winning the hearts of listeners worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed(PhD) attended the Nobel Prize award ceremony, Hadinko was among the distinguished delegates accompanying him. Beyond this, he has consistently used the stage to showcase Ethiopian music globally, blending traditional Ethiopian sounds with contemporary styles, and demonstrating the richness of Ethiopia\u2019s cultural heritage to international audiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2025, Hadinko was recognized at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) as the Best Jazz Artist in Africa, a prestigious honor that elevates both his artistry and Ethiopia\u2019s reputation on the global music stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hadinko emphasizes his deep love for the masinko and traditional Ethiopian music, working to merge it with modern technology to promote Ethiopia\u2019s cultural identity worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has also collaborated with 53 musicians from Amsterdam as part of a symphony orchestra and has performed in over 21 countries, further raising Ethiopia\u2019s profile internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reflecting on his achievements, Hadinko said, \u201cThis award is not just mine, it inspires many young masinko players to pursue their passion. Winning the All Africa Music Awards motivates me to ensure that Ethiopian traditional music continues to shine on the global stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through his music, Hadinko continues to showcase and elevate Ethiopia\u2019s rich cultural heritage to both the nation and the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
