The Ethiopian Nuclear Energy Commission (ENEC) was honored to welcome Attila T\u00f3th, Ambassador of Hungary, and Deputy Head of Mission R\u00e9ka \u00c1gota Csizi, who visited the office of Sandokan Debebe, Commissioner of ENEC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, Sandokan Debebe emphasized key areas of cooperation, including capacity building, scholarships, and fellowship, Hungary\u2019s nuclear experience, expertise in peaceful nuclear use, and expanded opportunities for Ethiopian youth in Hungarian universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in human resource development through scholarship, and fellowship opportunities under the Stipendium Hungaricum program, as well as additional academic and research pathways for Ethiopian students and ENEC professionals in Hungarian universities and research Centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The dialogue also highlighted Hungary\u2019s long-standing experience in peaceful nuclear experience, and advanced innovation. Critical areas for supporting ENEC as a newly established national institution committed to developing skilled human capital for Ethiopia\u2019s future nuclear program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ambassador Attila T\u00f3th invited ENEC leadership to visit the Paks Nuclear Power Plant and related facilities in Budapest to further expand technical cooperation and institutional learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ambassador also noted the strong public support in Hungary for the peaceful development of nuclear energy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting further explored broader bilateral collaboration between Ethiopia and Hungary in nuclear energy, education, trade, commerce, and technology, while reinforcing new academic exchange opportunities for Ethiopian youth and future scientists in Hungarian universities as to ENEC reported it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
