Mayor Adanech Abiebie hosted Israeli President Isaac Herzog this morning at the Adwa Victory Memorial in Addis Ababa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement shared on her official social media account, the Mayor said it was an honor to welcome the visiting President to Adwa Victory Memorial, which stands as a symbol of pride for all Black people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis morning, we had the honor of hosting His Excellency Isaac Herzog, President of Israel, at the Adwa Victory Memorial \u2014 a symbol of pride for all Black people,\u201d she wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, the two leaders explored the history of Ethiopia\u2019s heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice to safeguard the nation\u2019s sovereignty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayor Adanech expressed her appreciation to President Herzog for visiting the Memorial Museum and extended her best wishes for a productive stay in Ethiopia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
