Large-scale infrastructure projects, urban beautification programs, corridor development, and recreational facilities are reshaping the city\u2019s stature and global reputation. He recalled that in the past, school construction projects focused mainly on erecting buildings, with little consideration for playgrounds and recreational spaces. Today, however, newly built schools are equipped with modern play grounds and recreational facilities in their areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mentesnot also highlighted the remarkable development of the \u201cChildren\u2019s Village\u201d in the Kazanchis area. He further praised the city\u2019s emerging 24\/7 working culture and the heightened motivation among public employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another diaspora member, Kaleb Lemma, who lived in Australia for more than 23 years, said he was profoundly impressed by the city\u2019s remarkable modernization and the extensive beautification initiatives transforming its landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"833\" height=\"771\" src=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/03\/645409131_1392512306255472_6133276199797883970_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1673\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/03\/645409131_1392512306255472_6133276199797883970_n.jpg 833w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/03\/645409131_1392512306255472_6133276199797883970_n-300x278.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/03\/645409131_1392512306255472_6133276199797883970_n-768x711.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 833px) 100vw, 833px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>According to him, Addis Ababa\u2019s infrastructure and urban landscape were previously far from modern standards, but the ongoing corridor development has brought visible and transformative change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaleb noted that the capital, once known for limited nightlife activity, has become vibrant and enjoyable after dark.
