Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie has announced the opening of a city-wide Technical and Vocational Week exhibition at the newly inaugurated Arada Park, which will run for three consecutive days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cToday, we have opened a city-wide Technical and Vocational Week exhibition in our beautiful Arada Park, and it will continue for the next three days,\u201d the mayor stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Adanech noted that the exhibition, being held for the 16th time under the theme \u201cTechnological Excellence for National Prosperity,\u201d serves as a platform to practically demonstrate the competitiveness of Addis Ababa, a beacon of prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She emphasized the importance of hard work and creativity in laying a solid foundation for nation building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOur country has been able to keep pace with the world\u2019s rapid growth through technological innovation, adaptation, and the effective reuse of technology,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mayor further highlighted that Ethiopia is making significant progress by overcoming previous limitations in local production and addressing foreign exchange shortages that once hindered growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are now witnessing profound changes as we strive to achieve the rapid development we once aspired to,\u201d she underscored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mayor Adanech also stressed the critical role of technical and vocational institutions in driving the city\u2019s growth. \u201cWe are at a time when our country needs such creativity more than ever,\u201d she said, calling on institutions to strengthen and expand a culture of hard work and continuous effort to achieve even greater success.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reaffirming her administration\u2019s commitment, the mayor stated, \u201cOur city administration will continue to provide unwavering support to ensure your efforts succeed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also expressed her appreciation to the leadership of the Bureau of Labor and Skills, as well as to the teachers, staff, and students of technical and vocational colleges, for organizing the exhibition in a well-coordinated manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
