Addis Media Network Board members stated that the media house is a generational establishment serving the public at the forefront by becoming a competitive, credible, and preferred source of information, as well as the voice of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly appointed members of the AMN Board, assigned by the Addis Ababa City Council during its 5th-year term and 3rd regular session, reviewed the institution\u2019s nine-month performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the review, the board members commended the institution for effectively fulfilling its role as a public media outlet by delivering valuable, reliable, and preferred information to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chairman of the AMN Board, Moges Balcha, stated that the institution\u2019s content production and presentation activities over the past nine months were encouraging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He added that AMN should not only become a preferred media house among both public and private media organizations in the country, but should also establish a system capable of leading from the center of the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member Miesa Elema (PhD) noted that the ongoing media reform has been effective and affirmed that they will work together to ensure the continuity of the reform process in terms of quality, capacity, and practicality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Board Member Zahara Mohammed also expressed her appreciation, stating that Addis Media Network is clearly operating with a strong focus on speed, teamwork, and credibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another Board Member, Solomon Kassa, recalled the institution\u2019s vision of becoming a \u201cmetropolitan media\u201d and emphasized the need to establish an East Africa-leading media system supported by artificial intelligence (AI) in order to expand its international reach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On his part, Addis Media Network CEO Solomon Dibaba stated that the Media House is working diligently to become a leading source of information for the city by promoting overall development, freedom of thought, and the transformation of the capital city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He noted that the institution is advancing not only in terms of content and presentation approaches, but also through technological innovation and improved operational systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The CEO further indicated that the media organization is striving to become a trusted and leading source of information that moves in line with the city\u2019s development and transformation while promoting progressive thinking and public engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Overall, the board members emphasized the need to continue to focusing on building a media organization that reflects the status of Addis Ababa as Africa\u2019s diplomatic capital and an international diplomatic hub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also stressed the importance of creating a conducive working environment by reinforcing capable human resources development, expanding advanced technological systems, and designing innovative and modern programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
