class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AMN Plus-July 15,2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A high-level delegation of government officials from the Republic of Malawi has visited the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute to explore the country&#8217;s progress in artificial intelligence and discuss opportunities for future collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the visit, Shambel Yilma (PhD), Head of the Director General&#8217;s Office and Technology Advisor at the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute, briefed the delegation on the institute&#8217;s ongoing initiatives and achievements across various sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He highlighted that the institute is implementing a wide range of AI-driven projects designed to support Ethiopia&#8217;s national development priorities and accelerate innovation across key sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking after the visit, the head of the Malawian delegation, Foster Harawa, praised the institute&#8217;s achievements, describing it as a model that other African countries could learn from.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" visit provided the delegation with valuable firsthand insight into Ethiopia&#8217;s growing AI ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Harawa also expressed appreciation for the institute&#8217;s work, emphasizing that its experience could serve as a strong foundation for strengthening future technological cooperation between Ethiopia and Malawi, according to Ethiopian
