By creating a platform for participants to share their experiences and perspectives, the program contributed to the advancement of the Digital Ethiopia 2030 strategy through practical digital skills development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The program began with a tour of an exhibition focused on artificial intelligence, followed by an opening speech by Billene Seyoum, Head of the Press Secretariat at the Prime Minister\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"http:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/770720255_2653764645018610_231352456387585069_n-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/770720255_2653764645018610_231352456387585069_n-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/770720255_2653764645018610_231352456387585069_n-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/770720255_2653764645018610_231352456387585069_n-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/770720255_2653764645018610_231352456387585069_n.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In her remarks, she stated that young people\u2019s technical and digital skills are a critical national asset and affirmed the implementation of the Prime Minister\u2019s call to increase the number of coders to 7 million during this rainy season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subsequent panel discussion featured four experts who shared their experiences and perspectives on the 5 Million Ethiopian Coders Initiative.
