He also noted that the country has been working extensively to expand, upgrade, and modernize health institutions across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"721\" height=\"482\" src=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/1000049612.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4674\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/1000049612.jpg 721w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/1000049612-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 721px) 100vw, 721px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He emphasized that cooperation among African countries and the development of a self-reliant health system will play a crucial role in modernizing Africa\u2019s healthcare system and ensuring access to health services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The President further stated that Ethiopia is working intensively to become a destination for health tourism, safeguard the health and well-being of its citizens, modernize pharmaceutical supply and production, improve service delivery systems, and increase the number of qualified health professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"721\" height=\"482\" src=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/1000049613.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4675\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/1000049613.jpg 721w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2026\/08\/1000049613-300x201.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 721px) 100vw, 721px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also highlighted Ethiopia\u2019s Green Legacy Initiative, implemented over the past years to maintain ecological balance, as well as efforts to improve and modernize cities in order to enhance citizens\u2019 quality of life.
