The Ethiopian National Defense Force, the shield of sovereignty and the guarantee of peace and development for this historic and proud nation, is the true manifestation of heroism that has proven this motto in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Built on commitment, military discipline, and love for its people, our defense force is a remarkable pillar of resilience that goes beyond protecting national borders to demonstrate Ethiopia’s invincible spirit to the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Carrying the sacred legacy of patriotism inherited from its forefathers, the Ethiopian National Defense Force is a power that has defended the honor of the nation by braving the scorching desert heat, the highland chill, mountains, and valleys. By defending against internal and external challenges throughout every era, it has vividly written the truth that “Ethiopia stands resilient and shall overcome.” This defense force is not merely a hero of the battlefield; it is also a pillar of peace and security that comes to the aid of its people in times of need and actively participates at the forefront of development initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When we say “A Nation Can!”, we also envision our defense force’s modern readiness, human resource development, and growing technological capability. Continuously renewing itself with knowledge and skills, enhancing local capacities, and efficiently fulfilling international peacekeeping missions, our military makes significant contributions to regional and global peace. As the dedicated sons and daughters drawn from all parts of Ethiopia stand together to raise the national flag high, the unity and strength of Ethiopia shine even brighter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, a nation can! Resting on the shoulders of its heroic children, it makes the impossible possible and overcomes the unpassable. We will always remember with honor and pride the precious sacrifices that the Ethiopian National Defense Force has made and continues to make for its country. Working tirelessly day and night so that the nation stands firm and its citizens live in peace, our defense force is the pride and bedrock of our country!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
