{"id":736,"date":"2025-12-09T13:04:11","date_gmt":"2025-12-09T13:04:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/?p=736"},"modified":"2025-12-09T13:04:13","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T13:04:13","slug":"oman-ambassador-explores-investment-opportunities-in-ethiopia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/oman-ambassador-explores-investment-opportunities-in-ethiopia\/","title":{"rendered":"Oman Ambassador Explores Investment Opportunities in Ethiopia."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a><\/a>AMN Plus -December 9\/2025<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, Zeleke Temesgen(PhD), held discussions with Afkar bin Nazim(PhD), Oman\u2019s Ambassador to Ethiopia, on ways to further enhance the participation of Omani investors in Ethiopia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the discussion, Zeleke provided explanations on Ethiopia\u2019s investment landscape, the reforms undertaken to make the investment environment conducive and competitive, and the priority investment sectors the government is focusing on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"538\" height=\"695\" src=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/595690942_883935087336613_1305717766498460287_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-738\" style=\"aspect-ratio:0.7740956406394028;width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/595690942_883935087336613_1305717766498460287_n.jpg 538w, https:\/\/www.amn.gov.et\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2025\/12\/595690942_883935087336613_1305717766498460287_n-232x300.jpg 232w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 538px) 100vw, 538px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ethiopian Investment Commission also affirmed its commitment to providing efficient services to investors by expanding transparent procedures and ensuring seamless support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the Commissioner expressed Ethiopia\u2019s readiness to work in collaboration with the Embassy of Oman to further strengthen their investment relations. He also extended an invitation to Omani investors to participate in the upcoming \u201cInvest in Ethiopia\u201d Business Forum, which will be held from 27-28 March 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oman\u2019s Ambassador to Ethiopia, Afkar bin Nazim(PhD), on his part, stated that Oman is interested in strengthening its economic cooperation with Ethiopia.
