The Ethiopian Embassy Islamabad has stepped up efforts to foster bilateral cooperation between the leading think tanks of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. To this end, Oumer Hussein Oba(PhD), Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, hosted a delegation from the Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad at the Embassy.
The delegation was led by Amina Khan, Director of the Centre for Afghanistan, Middle East & Africa, Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad.
During the meeting, both sides agreed to build a strategic partnership through institutional relationships, regular consultations, joint research, and academic exchanges between the Institute of Foreign Affairs -IFA of Ethiopia, and Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad.
Ambassador Oumer H. Oba noted that institutional cooperation would deepen bilateral relations across key sectors, including trade , investment , culture, tourism, education, and climate change as to Ethiopia Embassy Islamabad reported it.
