In a message shared on his official social media page, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed expressed appreciation to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim for his congratulatory note following the Prosperity Party’s electoral victory.
“Thank you, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, a valued partner with whom we share a common vision of Global South solidarity and mutual respect,” Prime Minister Abiy stated.
Recalling their previous engagements, the Prime Minister added, “I fondly recall our exchange of visits and the depth of understanding we built together.”
The Prime Minister further reaffirmed Ethiopia’s commitment to continued cooperation, saying, “We look forward to advancing all that we have initiated jointly.”
