Investors, business leaders, and industry stakeholders from across the globe who came to Ethiopia to participate in the 8th Agrofood & Plastprintpack Ethiopia Exhibition and the 2nd Food and Ethiopica Coffee Trade Fair have visited several of Addis Ababa’s major tourist attractions.
During the tour, the participants explored the city’s landmark corridor development projects, riverside development initiatives, and other key urban transformation sites that have significantly enhanced Addis Ababa’s appeal as a modern and vibrant destination.
The visitors expressed admiration for the impressive urban renewal and beautification projects undertaken in the Ethiopian capital, noting that the scale and quality of the developments achieved within a relatively short period were remarkable.

They also praised Addis Ababa’s expanding conference tourism infrastructure, emphasizing that the city is increasingly positioning itself as a competitive destination for international meetings, exhibitions, trade fairs, and business events.

According to the Addis Ababa Tourism Commission, the participants were particularly impressed by the city’s ongoing transformation and its growing capacity to serve as a leading hub for global conferences, exhibitions, and investment-focused events.
Many indicated that Addis Ababa has strong potential to become one of their preferred destinations for future international trade exhibitions and similar gatherings.
