The Abrehot Library has marked its fourth year as a leading center for promoting reading and research culture in Addis Ababa.
During a visit to the library, Addis Ababa City Mayor Adanech Abiebie officially launched three major technology projects aimed at transforming the institution into an advanced digital knowledge hub.
The mayor stated that the new digital services will ensure Abrehot Library is no longer limited to serving Addis Ababa alone. Instead, it will create opportunities for students and researchers across Ethiopia to access and benefit from the library’s extensive knowledge resources.
The Mayor further emphasized that the digital transformation will play a crucial role in preserving Ethiopia’s historical documents and ensuring their transmission to future generations.
