An Ethiopian delegation led by Samuel Urqato(PhD), Chief Commissioner of the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission, is participating in the Eleventh Session of the Conference of the States Parties (COSP11) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC), taking place in Doha, Qatar, from December 15 to 19, 2025.
The conference is hosted by the Government of the State of Qatar in cooperation with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). It has brought together more than 2,500 participants, including government representatives, officials from international organizations, anti-corruption experts, private sector stakeholders, civil society representatives, and youth participants.
COSP11 is one of the largest global forums dedicated to combating corruption and promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability. It brings together representatives of the 192 States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption to review implementation progress, exchange best practices, and strengthen international cooperation in the fight against corruption.
