The Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice Party (EZEMA) has officially announced its readiness to compete in all polling stations for the 7th General Election, which will be held across the country by the Electoral Board of Ethiopia.
This statement was made in a recent press statement issued by the party today.
Eyob Mesafint, the CEO and Executive Committee member of EZEMA, emphasized that the election paves an opportunity to present policy alternatives, establish a stable foundation for governance, and serve as a vital tool for building Ethiopia’s democratic culture.
The party has called for the government to operate within the framework of peaceful engagement, ensuring that all stakeholders involved in the election process fulfill their responsibilities until the election is concluded.
In the press statement, the party’s chairman, Mulualem Tangenwork(PhD), reaffirmed that EZEMA is committed to forming a government only through peaceful means.
Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice Party-EZEMA also urged the government to guarantee that the election is conducted freely, fairly, and democratically, stressing that the election is not merely a technical procedure, but a key mechanism for fostering good governance in Ethiopia.
In its press Statement, the party highlighted the importance of all political parties engaging constructively and responsibly, proposing solutions to contribute to the successful outcome of Ethiopia’s election.
Finally, Ethiopian Citizens for Social Justice Party called on the National Election Board of Ethiopia to focus on actions that will enhance and strengthen the election process.
