A high-level Ethiopian delegation, led by Adem Farah, Vice President of the Prosperity Party and Head of the Democracy Building Center Coordinator Office, met with the President of Djibouti, Ismail Omar Guelleh, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
The talks centered on identifying opportunities to deepen collaboration across various sectors and to advance shared interests through more coordinated efforts. The meeting also included a review of ongoing joint projects aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
As part of the visit, the Ethiopian delegation toured the Doraleh Multipurpose Port, where they assessed the services that support Ethiopia’s import and export operations.
Additionally, they evaluated the status of heavy cargo transportation via the rail corridor that links the port to Ethiopia, underscoring the importance of these infrastructure projects in facilitating regional trade and economic growth.
