Prominent leaders from across Africa, along with the families of renowned Pan-African figures, have visited Ethiopia’s Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).
During the visit, Tesfahun Gobezaye, State Minister of Government Communication Service, provided an insightful briefing about the project.
The delegation included the families of iconic leaders such as Nelson Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah, Julius Nyerere, and Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, marking a significant moment in the dam’s history.
