In a message shared on her official social media page, Mayor Adanech Abiebie announced that the Addis Ababa City Administration has officially launched the third “Addis Mesob” One-Stop Service Center.
“Today, we have officially inaugurated the third ‘Addis Mesob’ One-Stop Service Center in our city,” she stated.
The newly opened G+7 modern facility marks a significant milestone in transforming public service delivery. Designed to provide swift, efficient, and high-quality services, the center integrates multiple government services under one roof—saving citizens time, cost, and effort while minimizing inconvenience.
The center offers 112 services from 20 institutions through 69 service windows. In addition, 22 institutions are digitally interconnected, enhancing efficiency, accessibility, and customer satisfaction by replacing the previously fragmented system of service delivery across different offices.
For many years, inefficient procedures—often affected by corruption and nepotism—have hindered national prosperity and eroded public trust in government institutions. In response to the needs and expectations of residents, the city administration has now transitioned to a modern, digital, one-stop service system.
The success of the first two centers, launched in Arada and Bole sub-cities, demonstrates this progress. Together, they have served more than 120,000 customers, with over 98 percent reporting satisfaction—clear evidence that the reform is delivering tangible results.
Efforts are underway to expand access further, with three additional centers set to open by the end of March, bringing the total to 11 centers by the end of April.
The Addis Mesob Digital One-Stop Service Center also features a comfortable working environment, a comprehensive childcare facility, and is staffed by a dedicated team of newly recruited university graduates and experienced employees trained with a strong culture of public service.
“I would like to thank everyone who contributed to making this initiative successful,” the mayor added.
