State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hadera Abera, addressed the Africa Day celebration organized by the African Union in Addis Ababa today.
In his remarks, the State Minister noted that Africa Day serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience of Pan-Africanism, the sacrifices of past generations, and the collective aspiration for a united, peaceful, and prosperous Africa.
Ambassador Hadera emphasized the importance of deepening collaboration among African countries, empowering the youth, modernizing economies, and advancing the aspirations of Agenda 2063 as the continent continues to make progress.
Highlighting the opportunities emerging amid global uncertainty, he underscored Africaβs immense potential to become a driving force for sustainable development, renewable energy, and stronger international partnerships. He also called for renewed collective efforts to ensure prosperity, dignity, and opportunity for all Africans, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia.
