The Deputy Chairperson and Military Chief Commander of
the Amhara FANO Popular Organization (FANO-AFPO), Colonel Fentaw Muhaba, together with his forces, has entered the peace process following an agreement reached between the Amhara FANO Popular Organization (FANO-AFPO) and the Amhara Regional Government.
Following the peace deal signed between the Amhara FANO Popular Organization (FANO-AFPO) and the Amhara Regional Government, Colonel Fentaw Muhaba, who also serves as the Chief Commander of the Wollo General Command, has accepted the peace deal and formally joined the peace process along with his troops.

The peace agreement between the Amhara Regional Government and Deputy Chairperson and Military Commander of the Amhara FANO Popular Organization (FANO-AFPO), Colonel Fentaw Muhaba was facilitated through the mediation of the African Union and IGAD.
