The Angolan delegation also toured the “Youth Skills and On-the-Job Training Program” being implemented in the sub-city.

The visit was attended by federal, city, and sub-city officials and coordinators, and the delegation observed activities in the manufacturing enterprises.

According to the Sub-City Communication Office, the visit aimed to recognize the success of Ethiopia’s Urban Development Safety Net Program, implemented with the support of the World Bank.

The delegation also sought to witness the country’s notable progress in moving from aid dependency toward a more productive and self-reliant development trajectory.
