In a message shared on her official social media page, Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie stated that today, under the slogan βLet the Youth Elect, Let Ethiopia Sustains,β a massive support rally and election campaign program was conducted at the Gelan Gura Industrial Park together with young people drawn from across the city.
The Mayor noted that the Gelan Gura Industrial Park stands as one of the key places where the government has translated its commitment to youth empowerment into practical action.
βRather than merely talking about the challenges facing youth empowerment and livelihoods, we have been working around the clock to deliver practical solutions,β the Mayor stated.
She reaffirmed that the industrial park has become a tangible example of efforts aimed at creating opportunities and ensuring real benefits for young people.
According to the Mayor, more than 70,000 youths from across Addis Ababa participated in the vibrant and energetic election campaign and support rally held through a spirited public mobilization.
The Mayor further emphasized that the development achievements realized over the past five years clearly demonstrate that Ethiopiaβs prosperity is inevitable.
βAbove all, the nation being built today is for our young generation, who will be the primary beneficiaries of its prosperity,β she reaffirmed.
Concluding the campaign program, Mayor Adanech expressed her heartfelt gratitude, both personally and on behalf of the Prosperity Party, to the youth who embraced the partyβs vision and future development agenda, shared hope for a better tomorrow, and came together from all directions to express their support.
βOur path is synergy; our destination is prosperity. Toward making Ethiopia a model nation,β the Mayor underscored.
