The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has officially announced the final results of the country’s 7th General Election for both the House of Peoples’ Representatives and the Regional State Councils.
According to the results released today, the Board confirmed that the Prosperity Party secured an overwhelming victory, winning the highest number of seats in both the federal parliament and regional councils.
NEBE stated that the Prosperity Party received a majority of votes across all regional states and city administrations, enabling it to claim the largest share of seats nationwide.
The results indicate that the Prosperity Party emerged as the dominant political force in the election, securing a decisive mandate from voters throughout the country.
