In a social media post, this afternoon, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) announced the inauguration of the model village.
“The modern Hamasa Model Village, built on 79.4 hectares of land as part of the Rural Corridor Development Program, was officially inaugurated today,” the premier stated.
PM Abiy said that the village is equipped with modern sanitation facilities, livestock shelters, vegetable gardens, biogas systems, and beehives, all designed to improve farmers’ livelihoods and productivity. These integrated amenities ensure comprehensive prosperity and a better quality of life for the residents.
This model village is a tangible result of our reform efforts, elevating the dignity, comfort, and economic well-being of rural communities to a higher level, the Prime Minister emphasized.
