African Medical Education Conference Participants Praise Addis Ababa’s Urban Transformation

Participants of the African Medical Education Conference (MedEdAfrica 2026) said Addis Ababa is recording remarkable growth that will serve as an example for other African cities.

The three-day African Medical Education Conference (MedEdAfrica 2026), held in Addis Ababa, concluded today.

During their stay, the conference participants visited several development projects in the city, including the Adwa Victory Memorial, and expressed their admiration for the changes they observed.

They said Addis Ababa is recording remarkable growth that will serve as an example for other African cities.

The participants also expressed their appreciation for the warm hospitality extended to them by the residents of Addis Ababa.

They said they were delighted with their stay in their second home, Ethiopia, and in the continent’s beautiful capital, Addis Ababa, according to the Ethiopian News Agency.
