In a statement shared on her official social media page, Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie congratulated 864 police officers who graduated today from the Addis Ababa Police College after completing their training in the second round.
“Today, we graduated 864 police officers who successfully completed their training in the second round at the Addis Ababa Police College,” the Mayor said.
She noted that the graduates had undergone rigorous theoretical and practical training under strict discipline, emerging physically and mentally prepared to take on their responsibilities as police officers.
Mayor Adanech said the knowledge and skills they gained during their training would help them uphold the highest standards of professional integrity.
“As you begin your careers, I am confident that you will serve with impartiality and without discrimination, demonstrating integrity, courage, humanity, and dignity, while working to uphold the rule of law,” the Mayor stated.
She also encouraged the newly graduated officers to carry out their duties responsibly and serve the public with professionalism and commitment.
