Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has extended his warm congratulations to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, commending her leadership and what he described as a “truly historic milestone” for her administration.
In his message, Prime Minister Abiy praised Meloni as a strong woman whose “visionary leadership” has brought what he called “unprecedented stability” to the modern history of the Italian Republic.
He also highlighted Meloni’s dedication and resilience, saying her leadership continues to inspire people around the world while contributing to the strengthening of the longstanding and multifaceted partnership between Ethiopia and Italy.
Prime Minister Abiy reaffirmed Ethiopia’s appreciation for the two countries’ shared commitments, emphasizing mutual respect as a foundation of their bilateral relations.
He concluded by wishing Prime Minister Meloni and the people of Italy continued peace and prosperity.
