Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed(PhD)has held the macroeconomic performance review of the first 100 days of the 2018 fiscal year with council of Ministers.
After concluding the macroeconomic performance review meeting,the council of ministers have toured the stunning tourist destinations found around koyesha project like chebera churchura and others.
Having visited the potential tourist destinations of the surrounding area,the members of the council of ministers have held discussions about the stunning tourist destinations, the macroeconomic performance review meeting, and koyesha project.
Opening the discussion Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed(PhD) said Ethiopia has inaugurated the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam recently. The prime minister said the government has given due attention about the mega projects underway in the nation.
In a discussion held with Council of ministers, member of the council of Ministers and Minister of labor and skills Development Muferiat Kamil said the project has created ample opportunities for communities living around the area.
“The project is directly integrated with communities intending to make them beneficiary from untapped resource of the area,”Muferiat Said
Under the visionary leadership of his excellence prime minister Abiy Ahmed(PhD) the koyesha project has served as a connecting bridge to the people of the area. Therefore, it is possible to say that the commencement of the koyesha project is a grand opportunity for the dwellers of the communities. Muferiat said the Koyesha project has paved transportation opportunity for the residents of the area.
Previously, the tourism sector had not been used as a source of income for the country. The minister further said the future prospect of koyesha and its surrounding will bring notable opportunities to the people in the area
