Head of Ethiopian Federal Police, Commissioner General Demelash Gebremichael, Meets U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia, Ervin Massinga
During the meeting, the Commissioner General emphasized the importance of strengthening police-to-police cooperation between Ethiopia and the United States, particularly in combating terrorism, organized crime, and other border-related crimes.
The two leaders explored opportunities for enhanced collaboration, including the exchange of expertise, capacity-building initiatives, and joint efforts to confront shared security challenges.
Ambassador Massinga reaffirmed the United States’ strong commitment to advancing police-to-police relations with Ethiopia, underscoring the priority both nations place on working together to combat terrorism and related border security threats.
The Ambassador highlighted that such cooperation is a cornerstone of the U.S.-Ethiopia partnership, aligning with both countries’ mutual determination to address global security concerns.
