Addis Ababa City Administration has Launched Six-Month Performance Review evaluation this morning.
In a statement shared on her official social media platforms, Mayor Adanech Abiebie announced that the city administration officially launched a six-month performance review evaluation earlier this morning.
She noted that the three-day review will thoroughly assess major government and party activities implemented during the first half of the 2018 fiscal year, in close coordination with leadership structures ranging from the woreda level to the city administration.
The Mayor highlighted that over the past six months, the city adopted a transformed 24/7 working culture and actively mobilized residents and development partners, enabling it to achieve an average of 95.3 percent of its planned activities across all sectors.
Despite this strong performance, Mayor Adanech emphasized that the review platform will candidly identify existing gaps and inconsistencies in institutional plan implementation. She added that the evaluation will also define future priority areas, strengthen capacity and experience for the coming six months, and serve as a key preparatory forum to enhance service delivery with greater dedication and integrity.
Mayor Adanech extended her heartfelt appreciation to all leaders and employees whose tireless efforts made these achievements possible, as well as to the development partners who provided continued support.
Reaffirming the city’s shared vision, she stated, “By working together, we will realize our vision of making Addis Ababa a model of prosperity.”
