On her official X page, Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the profound respect Prime Minister Narendra Modi has shown toward Ethiopia’s ancient civilization and the sovereignty of its people.
The Mayor highlighted the historic bond between Ethiopia and India, noting that both Prime Ministers, Abiy Ahmed and Narendra Modi, have forged a brilliant new chapter, elevating the relationship between the two nations to unprecedented heights.
“Addis Ababa continues to shine as a global hub of positive influence and a beacon of unifying narratives,” Mayor Adanech wrote on her official X page.
