The Deputy Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Michael Chudakov, who was in Ethiopia to participate in the Ethiopian Nuclear Power Development Program and the Launching Forum of the Ethiopian Nuclear Power Commission, paid a visit to the Adwa Victory Memorial.
During his visit, Mr. Chudakov toured the museum and expressed his admiration for the exhibits that vividly portray Ethiopia’s historic victory over invading forces.
The Deputy Director General remarked that the Battle of Adwa stands as a powerful symbol of independence, not only for Ethiopia but for the entire African continent.
The Deputy Director General further emphasized that Ethiopia has left a bright mark in the history of African independence, adding that the victory of Adwa demonstrates how unity among Ethiopians brings strength, victory, and freedom.
The Adwa Victory Memorial extends its sincere appreciation to Mr. Michael Chudakov for his visit and for honoring Ethiopia’s enduring legacy of courage and unity.
