In a message shared on her official social media page, Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie expressed her heartfelt appreciation to investors and members of the city for their unwavering support.

“Dear investors and members of our city, we would like to once again extend our sincere gratitude for your steadfast support,” the Mayor stated.

Mayor Adanech noted that investors and citizens clearly understood that the Prosperity Party is working diligently to build a stronger nation through policies and strategies aimed at benefiting all Ethiopians.

She emphasized that by taking a clear stand, remaining committed partners, and actively participating throughout the process, they played a leading role and provided invaluable support. “For this, we sincerely thank you,” she underscored.

The Mayor further stated that Ethiopia’s election is more than a political contest in which one party secures a majority vote; rather, it is a crucial national endeavor aimed at strengthening and safeguarding the country.

According to Mayor Adanech, the electoral process demonstrated the people’s commitment to building a democratic system, sustaining the nation’s ongoing development, and ensuring lasting peace. Through their participation, she said, Ethiopians have once again entrusted the Prosperity Party with a significant responsibility and mandate.

“We are committed to honoring this trust by serving our people with integrity, diligence, and sincerity,” Mayor Adanech reaffirmed.

The Mayor also stressed that the Prosperity Party firmly believes Ethiopia’s prosperity can only be achieved through a strong partnership with the private sector. She assured investors that the government will continue to support their contributions to national development.

“As you continue your efforts in nation-building, be assured that our support will always be with you. We will further strengthen our cooperation and continue working together toward our shared goals,” Mayor Adanech emphasized.
