The Office of the First Lady has constructed and inaugurated a new boarding school in Surma Woreda, South West Ethiopia, expanding access to education in the area.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) said the school is a boarding institution primarily serving students from the region.
The Prime Minister noted that the campus features modern dormitories, well-equipped classrooms, a computer laboratory with several dozen solar-powered computers, a clean water well, a fully equipped kitchen, a library, and a dedicated administration building.
“This holistic learning environment is designed to support both academic excellence and student well-being, creating new opportunities for young learners to thrive,” the Prime Minister said.
