A group of African media professionals from various countries across the continent has visited major development projects underway and completed in Addis Ababa.
The visit was organized by the Addis Ababa City Administration Communication Bureau in collaboration with the African Union.
During their tour of the city’s completed and ongoing mega projects, which offer a wide range of services, the media professionals said the rapid transformation and strong development momentum witnessed in Addis Ababa have made the city a beautiful and remarkable source of pride not only for Africans, but also for Black communities across the world.
They also noted that the Ethiopian capital is steadily living up to its rich history and enduring historical responsibility.
The visitors further expressed their appreciation for the strong cooperation extended by the city administration, as well as the outstanding effort demonstrated by the Addis Ababa City Tourism Bureau throughout the visit.
The delegation visited the Riverside Development Project, the Kazanchis Redevelopment Project, the corridor development works along the Bole–CMC and Megenagna–CMC routes, the Arat Kilo–Piassa road project, the integrated development works in Gulele, and the New Africa International Convention Center.
