Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie announced that she held a productive meeting with Gambella Regional State President Alemitu Umed to discuss strengthening cooperation on a range of shared development priorities.
In a message shared on her official social media page, the mayor said the two leaders agreed to deepen collaboration by jointly implementing people-centered development programs and exchanging best practices in key areas, including Early Childhood Development (ECD), corridor development, and other initiatives aimed at improving the well-being of citizens.
The discussion underscored the shared commitment of the Addis Ababa City Administration and the Gambella Regional State to work closely together in advancing inclusive, sustainable, and people-focused development.
