A delegation led by Valdecy Urquiza, Secretary General of the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL), has arrived in Addis Ababa for an official working visit.
Upon the delegation’s arrival at Bole International Airport, it was welcomed by Commissioner General Demelash Gebremichael, Commissioner General of the Ethiopian Federal Police, and Tamrat Mulugeta(PhD), President of the Ethiopian Police University.
According to information obtained from the Ethiopian Federal Police, the INTERPOL Secretary General is scheduled to visit the Federal Police headquarters during his stay.
In addition, the Ethiopian Federal Police is expected to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the INTERPOL Global Academy, which is known for providing high-standard, quality training to law enforcement officers from INTERPOL member countries.
