The Ethiopian Nation, Nationalities, and Peoples Day, which has been celebrated across Addis Ababa with various programs, is concluding today. Throughout the city’s sub-cities and in different institutions, the day has been colorfully celebrated in ways that reflect Ethiopia’s unity, diversity, and togetherness.
Today’s closing ceremony, taking place at Arada Park, is attended by high-level officials including Speaker of the House of Federation Agegnehu Teshager, Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples’ Representatives Lomi Bedo, Speaker of Addis Ababa City Council Buzena Alkedir, Mayor of Addis Ababa City, Adanech Abiebie, along with other senior leaders and representatives of various nations and nationalities.
The event has been celebrated with vibrant cultural performances that promote Ethiopian unity and national cohesion.
