Ambassador Oumer Hussein Oba(PhD), Ambassador-designate of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, has hosted a delegation from The Samson Group Of Companies here at the Ethiopian Embassy to coordinate their upcoming pre-investment visit to Ethiopia.
Ambassador Oumer H. Oba held a productive and fruitful meeting with the delegation which was led by Waseem Ur Rahman, CEO Samson Group of Companies. The discussions centered around extraordinary investment opportunities generated by the two phases of Home Grown Economic Reforms in diverse economic sectors of Ethiopia including agriculture, agro processing, manufacturing, mining and tourism.
Ambassador Oumer highlighted strong commitment of the Government of Ethiopia to foster an investor-friendly environment, specifically noting the implementation of one-window operations for investors, and other various investor-friendly initiatives.
The delegation of the Samson Company expressed readiness to visit Ethiopia and explore investment opportunities, specifically in the sectors of agriculture, tourism, hospitality, and textiles.
