Ethiopia has finalized its holistic preparations to conduct the 7th General Election nationwide.
Addis Media Network, in collaboration with Addis Ababa Political Parties Joint Council, has organized a panel discussion titled “Election and Media” for key stakeholders as part of ongoing efforts to promote a transparent, inclusive, and credible electoral process ahead of Ethiopia’s upcoming Seventh General Election.
On the occasion, Addis Media Network CEO Kassahun Gonfa stated that the institution has completed all necessary arrangements to equitably host and engage all political parties, in full compliance with the rules and regulations of the National Election Board of Ethiopia.
Speaking at the forum and responding to questions from participants of the panel discussion, Kassahun explained that the institution has established a dedicated election desk to ensure comprehensive and professional coverage of all electoral activities as part of its preparations for the 7th General Election.
The CEO further emphasized that Addis Media Network is accountable to the Addis Ababa City Council and operates as a public media institution dedicated to upholding the public interest and serving the community with professionalism and integrity.
Kassahun also emphasized that the institution is fully prepared to facilitate campaign coverage and policy presentations for all political parties participating in the 7th General Election, in strict accordance with the rules and regulations of the National Election Board of Ethiopia.
