Mayor Adanech Abiebie has inaugurated Zewditu Memorial Hospital’s Advanced Medical Center Expansion, Unveiling State-of-the-art facilities to meet growing community needs.

Mayor Adanech Abiebie shared on her official social media page that the new advanced medical center is a 10-story building, spanning 1,800 square meters.

The new advanced center features 320 inpatient beds, doubling Zewditu Hospital’s patient service capacity after 91 years of operation.

The hospital was designed with both medical professionals and patients in mind, ensuring convenience and efficiency for all.

The hospital is equipped with the latest medical facilities and includes its own oxygen production unit,” said the mayor.

The inauguration of Zewditu Memorial Hospital, with its modern medical facilities, positions Addis Ababa as a growing hub for medical tourism.
