Addis Ababa Mayor Adanech Abiebie has officially launched the 11th city-wide Science and Innovation Exhibition, a vibrant two-day event held under the inspiring theme: “A Generation Skilled in Science and Innovation for a Model Nation.”
Highlighting the purpose of the exhibition, the Mayor noted that the event serves as a vital platform for students to translate theoretical knowledge into practical application, showcase their talents, receive recognition for their innovations, and strengthen collaborative skills.
“Knowledge is not about repeatedly discussing problems, but about generating solutions and transforming challenges into success,” she emphasized.
According to the Mayor, the city administration has made significant strides toward establishing Addis Ababa as a hub of science and innovation, with tangible results already beginning to emerge.
Addressing participating students and teachers, she expressed strong optimism that their creative works will continue to grow and evolve, ultimately contributing meaningful value not only to the city and the nation, but also to the wider global community.
