The National Election Board of Ethiopia (NEBE) has approved and officially released the results for 24 constituencies where vote counting and tabulation works have been completed.
Accordingly, the detailed results of 12 Regional Council and 12 House of Peoples’ Representatives seats registered across these constituencies have been outlined by the Board.
Melatwork Hailu, Chairperson of the National Election Board of Ethiopia, stated during the press briefing that voting has concluded across almost all special polling stations, which include 442 military camps and 82 internally displaced persons (IDP) camps, with the exception of only one military camp.
The Chairperson pointed out that the Election Board provided all the necessary support to ensure the election was successful at these special polling stations.
It was also noted that the overall results will be tabulated and officially released to the public in the near future.
