Ethiopia is colorfully commemorating the 20th Ethiopian Nations, Nationalities and Peoples’ Day in Hossana, located in the Central Ethiopia Regional State.
This year’s celebration is being held under the inspiring theme “Democratic Consensus for Unity in Diversity.”
Speaking at the event, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed (PhD) urged Ethiopians to prioritize peace, dialogue, unity, and national interest.
The Prime Minister emphasized that no challenge facing the country will ever hinder Ethiopia’s ongoing growth and prosperity.
The Prime Minister highlighted that the government is transforming national challenges into opportunities and working to ensure the holistic advancement of the country.
Abiy further stated that the government is tirelessly striving to make Ethiopia a symbol of growth and prosperity for its African brothers and sisters.
Reflecting on the nation’s progress, the Prime Minister noted that Ethiopia is registering remarkable achievements across various sectors.
This vibrant and colorful celebration is being attended by high-level officials, including Speaker of the House of Federation Agegnehu Teshager, President of the Federal Supreme Court Tewodrose Mihrte, Deputy Prime Minister Temesgen Tiruneh, Deputy Chairman of the Prosperity Party and Deputy Prime Minister Adem Farah, ministers, state ministers, regional leaders, religious figures, invited guests, and many others.
