In his message, Prime Minister Abiy stated: “My great brother and dear friend, His Excellency Narendra Modi, I would like to express my profound joy at the historic achievement of earning the enduring trust of the world’s largest and most vibrant democratic community and leading India with vision and determination through three consecutive democratic terms in office.”
Prime Minister Abiy noted that Prime Minister Modi’s leadership has lifted millions of people out of poverty, significantly expanded digital public infrastructure, and accelerated India’s economic transformation through unprecedented infrastructure development.
The premier further commended Modi for consistently serving as a strong and influential voice for the Global South, advocating for the interests and aspirations of developing nations on the international stage.
