Addis Media Network (AMN) has signed an agreement to provide live broadcast coverage of the upcoming African Cities International Mountain Bike Cycling Competition, set to take place in Addis Ababa on May 2 and May 3.
The agreement was formally signed by AMN Chief Executive Officer Solomon Dibaba and Ethiopian Cycling Federation Vice President Solomon Bekele.
Speaking at the occasion, AMN CEO Solomon Dibaba noted that AMN has developed and strengthened its human resource capacity and technological capability to ensure high-quality live coverage of major international sporting event.
On his part, Ethiopian Cycling Federation Vice President Solomon Bekele said AMN was selected for its advanced live broadcasting expertise and its state-of-the-art technological equipment.

Federation Executive Member Tewodrose Debela also highlighted that AMN’s consistent commitment to promoting sports played a key role in its selection. The upcoming two-day competition is expected to showcase Addis Ababa to the international community as a city with growing cycling infrastructure and strong development momentum.
The event will bring together competitors from 35 countries and is set to receive live broadcast coverage across 60 countries worldwide.
