Mayor of Addis Ababa, Adanech Abiebie, has announced the opening of Addis Mesob One-Stop Digital Government Service Centers in Akaki-Kality and Lemi Kura sub-cities.
In a message shared on her official social media page, this afternoon, the mayor said the city administration has expanded the Addis Mesob One-Stop Digital Government Service to all 11 sub-cities of the capital within a year.
“Within a year, we have turned our promise into action by implementing Addis Mesob One-Stop Digital Government Service Centers in all 11 sub-cities,” she said.

Adanech congratulated residents of Addis Ababa, noting that the centers will enable them to access government services that are faster, more efficient, cost-effective, transparent, fair, and impartial.
“Today, we inaugurated two Addis Mesob One-Stop Digital Government Service Centers in Akaki-Kality and Lemi Kura sub-cities, bringing the service to all 11 sub-cities of our city within a year,” she stated.

According to the mayor, nearly 50 percent of government services are currently being delivered through the centers. She added that the administration’s next priority is to integrate the remaining services into the system in order to further modernize public service delivery and improve residents’ satisfaction.
Adanech said the initiative has helped address long-standing bureaucratic challenges and improve access to government services by creating a more efficient and transparent system that saves citizens both time and money.

She also noted that the centers, built by Ethiopian professionals, demonstrate the country’s ability to advance its national vision through reform.
The mayor expressed her appreciation to all those who contributed to the construction, consultation, and technological development of the centers, thanking them for their efforts in realizing the facilities within a short period of time.
“On behalf of the residents of our city, the city administration, and myself, I extend my gratitude to everyone who played a role in making these institutions a reality,” she said.
