Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed held a constructive meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, discussing ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Ethiopia and Russia.
The talks focused on expanding cooperation in defence and security, trade and investment, education, technology, culture and people-to-people ties.
The two sides also discussed strengthening cooperation on climate and development priorities, including COP32, and expanding mutually beneficial trade and economic exchanges.
